Are you sure that evolution is configured to store messages locally ? Where does it store them and in what format ?

Closing this for absence of feedback. For the record, and after a little inquiry:

For imap mail, you need to set the synchronize mail locally option.
You need to remove .cache from the "Indexing preferences/Local Parameters/Skipped Names" list. .cache is skipped by default, and it seems that evolution keeps the local copies in there.

Other than these, evolution email is indexed just fine.

when i remove " .cache " it does it perfect .thanx a lot
